We’re excited to announce Helio’s new Stripe integration, making it easier than ever for merchants to accept crypto alongside fiat. Helio merchants can now easily slot crypto payments into their existing Stripe workflows, managing both fiat and crypto payments in a single place.

Crypto & Fiat Payments in One Place 

With this integration, Stripe remains merchants’ central hub for managing customers, invoices and billing logic. By linking their Helio and Stripe accounts, crypto payments are no longer siloed in the Helio dashboard. When a customer pays in crypto the associated invoice is automatically marked as paid in Stripe. 

This keeps both fiat and crypto transactions side by side in Stripe, giving merchants a single, unified view of payment activity. By consolidating everything in one place, you eliminate the need for separate integrations, cutting down on setup time and ongoing maintenance costs. It also simplifies reconciliation and auditing, with both fiat and crypto payments easily tracked and managed within Stripe.

How It Works 

When a merchant generates a Stripe invoice for a one-time crypto payment, Helio automatically creates a linked crypto charge page in the background. Once the customer pays onchain, the invoice is instantly updated in Stripe, delivering the same seamless experience as fiat payments, with no extra steps required.

1. Create a restricted API Key in your Stripe dashboard

2. Securely save this in your Helio dashboard settings

3. Create a pay link with Stripe enabled

4. Automate invoice creation in Stripe and send the invoice ID to Helio
